2022 IKE Football & Setz Scholarship Golf Outing

 

Proceeds from this event will be used to sustain a scholarship for a graduating high school student who plans to pursue a career in education. The first scholarship was given at the New Berlin Eisenhower senior awards night in May 2018.

 

Jeff Setz passed away on August 25, 2016 following a battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Jeff spent his entire 36-year teaching career in the New Berlin Public Schools as a mathematics teacher and coach for many athletic teams, most notably as the head coach for both the New Berlin Eisenhower football and softball programs. He made one of his life’s efforts to be a contributing member to his community and have a positive impact in the development of many successful students and athletes.

 

After taking over as head coach of the football program at Eisenhower in 1991, Coach Setz won back to back state championships in 1995 and 1996, and he later helped coach Ike to a 2008 state championship in softball.

 

He will forever be remembered as a hall-of-fame husband, father, friend, teacher and coach.

We need your help with sponsorships and donations. Hole sponsorships are available for $100 per hole and include signage at the hole as well as the opportunity to have a representative at your designated hole handing out information, prizes, etc. This is a great way to get your company information out there. We greatly appreciate your consideration and welcome any door prizes or raffle items for a silent auction and other contests (Long Drive, Closest to the Pin, Long Putt, etc.) that will take place during the outing.
